What's the longest relationship you've been in?

Posted on Nov 23rd, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 23, 2007:

The longest relationship I have had is with my oldest son. It has lasted 43 years and has left awe struck so many times. I know it started many life times ago and will last for many to come. He has grown to become a great man is his own right and I am humbled to think that I had some small part in that. I watch him as he raise his son and three step children. He treats them all so fairly and with so much love. On lookers have no idea that he is not the biological father of them all. I watched him overcome learning disabilities, build a career and gain respect along with good friends. His maintains his passion for fishing and for his vocation.

How do spiritual and environmental awareness relate?

Posted on Nov 6th, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 06, 2007:

Since I believe in a higher power, GOD, I respect all of his creation. Earth is one aspect of that creations so I must honor and cherish Her. Living green is how I was raised and it is just a way of life for me. When I practice environmental awareness I am only walking my talk. For me the two concepts are interrelated, if I believe one then I must do the other.

What's the most important thing that happened to you this month?

Posted on Nov 4th, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 31, 2007:

The most important thing that happened to me in October was the closing of the program I was working in. It was called Needful Things. It was a shop the gave clothes , household items and funiture to low income people and people in crisis. A free second hand shop if you will. I loved keeping it stocked, clean and serving our families. I was totally traumatized when it was closed.

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 03, 2007:

I head straight to email. Family, then friends and then to ZAADZ or GMS. Once I have my morning hot drink I do all business emails. I search the web when need arrises for information. I love it of job searches and environmental information.

If you could rename the internet, what would you call it?

Posted on Nov 1st, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 01, 2007:

Global Access Biway - GAB for short. I would also find a way to have a directory that people could use that would put them in touch with all the social networks (non porn) that exist so they could connect with others around the world. Having friends in other countries makes the global community stronger and breaks down barriers faster than all the education about culture.

What's the most memorable Halloween costume you can think of?

Posted on Oct 30th, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 30, 2007:

My most memorable costume was the gypsy, complete with crystal ball. I was working for VA in Orting, WA and staff decided to dress up and throw a party for all our veterans. I did readings for them and it was great fun. Our nursing director decided to make all of use a wheel chair for one work day so we could have a better understanding up it was like to live a sit-down life and wouldn"t you know it I god the lucky draw for that day. Transfers from the chair were hilarious because of all the petticoats and ruffles.

How do you feel about being paid for your work?

Posted on Oct 29th, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 29, 2007:

Being paid for my work is an affirmation that tells me others value what I do enough to reward me for my efforts and skills. Money is a many faceted medium and we sometimes forget that it goes far beyond greed and need. It is tool and can be used for so much.

What are you most looking forward to today?

Posted on Oct 28th, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 28, 2007:

Completeing the packing away of things I don't use now. It has been fun to look at all the stuff in my living area and make choices about what to keep and what to pass on to others. the next thing I am looking forward to is setting up a work area for my computer and all my writing references. Then, I will be able to send out the emails and letters announcing the adoptoin of my newest sister. That will make three sisters, the one who is biological, and two who have been sent  as soul sisters. It has been very healing getting sisters who are not dysfunctional. My family of orgin had manay issues and much abuse. We made many gains as a family but there is not a comfort level or closness that I have seen in some family groups so I asked the Universe to send me sisters and now I have two.

Who is the kindest person you know?

Posted on Oct 18th, 2007 by Katherine : Katherine Katherine
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 18, 2007:

My adopted sister Nancy. She has experienced many traumas in her life. Her daughter Chayya was killed by a drunk driver. She lives a sit down life. For those of you that don't know what a sit down life means that is a person who is confined to a wheelchair. She has many health issues and is now battling cancer once again. She is always smiling and always more concerned for what is going on in another persons life. Her loving compassion has set a standard for me to live up too. She is always willing to give in any way she can to assist another person. All of her children were adopted and what fortunate children they are. Chayya came from an orphange in Indian, T.J. from one in Korea and Jimmy from a life of detention centers and foster homes.  She is not only the kindest person I know, she is my hero.
